Community Involvement
At Reynolds Angus, we believe in investing in the future of our industry. That’s why we proudly support a variety of local organizations and youth programs that are shaping the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Whether it’s through sponsorships, educational outreach, or involvement in events like 4-H, FFA, and local livestock shows, we are committed to helping young people develop the skills, values, and passion needed to thrive in agriculture.
Supporting the next generation isn’t just important — it’s essential. We’re honored to play a small part in their journey and in the continued strength of our rural communities.

Southern Shenandoah 4-H Club & Cloverbuds
Lauren serves as the Organizational Leader for the Southern Shenandoah 4-H Club & Cloverbuds, a club she co-founded with fellow leaders in 2022. Since its founding, the club has experienced remarkable growth and now supports 25+ youth members, ranging in age from 5 to 19 years old.
Club members are actively involved in a wide range of livestock projects, including cattle, lambs, goats, hogs, and rabbits. Through hands-on learning and community engagement, these projects help develop responsibility, leadership, and a strong work ethic in young agriculturalists.
Daniel contributes as a dedicated 4-H volunteer, assisting with demonstrations, clinics, and educational events to support the development and success of 4-H youth in the region.
Future Farmers of America (FFA)
Daniel holds the Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization close to his heart, having served as President of his high school chapter during his senior year at Smyrna High School in Smyrna, Delaware. His dedication to agriculture and youth leadership continues through his work with Reynolds Angus.
Each year, Reynolds Angus proudly awards a scholarship to a deserving Smyrna High School senior who plans to pursue higher education and a career in agriculture. This scholarship reflects Daniel's belief in the importance of investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders.
In addition to scholarship support, Reynolds Angus has actively hosted and assisted local Shenandoah County middle school and high school judging teams, providing a valuable space for practice and learning. Looking ahead, Reynolds Angus aims to become a hub for students to support their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects, offering mentorship, resources, and opportunities to help students succeed in their agricultural journeys.
Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association
At Reynolds Angus, we are committed to raising high-quality, performance-driven cattle that make a lasting impact in the beef industry. We've recently joined the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association as part of our ongoing effort to become better breeders for our customers.
In line with that commitment, we're proud to announce that we've entered two of our homebred bulls into the Southwest Virginia Bull Test Station. This program will provide us with valuable performance data, including growth, efficiency, and structural soundness, helping us evaluate the genetics we're producing.
By participating in this respected performance testing program, we aim to strengthen our breeding decisions, better serve our customers, and contribute to the advancement of the Angus breed in Virginia and beyond.
We look forward to sharing the results and continuing to improve — one generation at a time.
